Located on the Cumberland Plateau in East Tennessee's Morgan and Cumberland counties, the park includes parts of the Obed River, Clear Creek, Daddys Creek and the Emory River. Included in the wild and scenic river area are over 45 miles of creeks and rivers that have cut rugged gorges with bluffs as high as 500 feet above the streams' whitewater. The park offers outdoor recreation such as fishing, hiking, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting.
